If you have been dreaming of the quintessential Australian fishing village holiday then a quick trip to Huskisson might be what you are seeking. Located approximately 179 Kilometers from Sydney on the pristine shores of Jervis Bay sits a rustic, friendly experience.

Huskisson forms the typical sleepy holiday resort and fishing village with many natural attractions and services within a short drive. The main street has many cafes and seafood restaurants and the Husky Pub, which forms the social center piece of the town. Here you can sit and wish away your worries whilst sipping a cold beer on the shores of one of Australia’s most pristine marine parks.

The Jervis Bay district was originally inhabited by the Dhurga Aborigines and European exploration did not commence until 1812, around the site which is now known as Nowra. The town remained largely undeveloped until the 1840′s when the soaring wool price formed the need for a large track between it and Sydney. Convicts where sent from the nearby penal colony to cut a road from Nowra to nearby Huskisson to provide transport for the wool. This road later became known as the Wool Road and still remains today.

The Wool road was used to ship the wool to Sydney direct from Jervis Bay rather than subject the markets to the time delay of horse and cart. As a result of these improvements there was much belief in the development of a local economy in Huskisson. Although the town was laid out along with the wool road, it was not to be settled for a further twelve years.

Today Huskisson is a vibrant and friendly community of over 2,000 residents. Its main industries include tourism and operations related to the pristine marine park. Huskisson sports many attractions and local delights including the famous Lady Denham Ferry.

The Lady Denham Museum is one of the premier tourist attractions on the NSW South Coast. The museum documents the rich history of wooden shipbuilding in the town. Shipbuilding was Huskisson’s prime economic activity up until the early 1920′s. In fact almost all of the wooden based Sydney ferries were constructed there.

The diving in Jervis Bay is second to none and provides an excellent location for all experience levels. Some diving locations include black rock, and a sunken World War Two figher plane. With three dive shops located in the main street you will never be without equipment or instruction.

Jervis bay also boasts the White Sands Easter Carnival held at White Sands Park every April. The celebration focuses on the family unit and provides stalls and activites in a fete format. The carnival is comepletely free of entry cost and is an excellent family activity.

The weather in Jervis Bay is variable and its generally best to visit during the summer months. Due to the towns location on the South Coast it is important to note that Weather can change in a moments notice and the area is known for receiving volatile winds. A traveller should always check the relevant forecasts before attempting to reach the town.

Accomodation is generally available in the town during the winter months. In the summer season it can be difficult to obtain lodgings without a booking. The warm weather and faimly demand in the region generally means that you will have trouble finding accomodation without a confirmed booking. The average cost of accomodation is in the $85 – $120 per night range for a comfortable motel style room.

It should be noted that Huskisson is relatively free of crime and is generally noted as being a safe location. Although crime is indeed low, it does suffer from petty youth crime, like many coastal NSW towns. The police presence at night is limited and it is recommended that you do not walk alone at night. Having said that, instances of crime is almost always petty and is not something that a potential visitor should be concerned with.

Jervis Bay and Huskisson can be reached with a variety of means. Rental cars can be obtained in Sydney and it is a short 2.5 hour drive. Train service also connects Nowra with Sydney although a visitor would need to connect with the local bus service to Huskisson.

Huskisson is indeed a friendly and laid back coastal town and is always welcoming to tourists of all nationalities. With the clement weather and myriad of natural attractions Huskisson makes the ideal family location for a much needed weekend break. So why not take the time for a weekend getaway?

If you are taking into consideration ACN for your Network Marketing opportunity you need to evaluate the opportunity and develop a plan inorder to make an informed committment. Read the piece below so that you are familiar with what you must before you jump in with both feet.

There are 4 specific areas you need to educate yourself on when looking into a Network Marketing opportunity.

1) Company Leadership and their services.

2) The Market Place and Industry Timing

3) The Compensation Plan

4) The Training System that is in Place.

So, we should check each of these with regard to ACN.

Lets Start with Leadership and Products:

ACN is an online community where members are rewarded for the online activites that we all do already. So lets look at the company: Began in 1993, started by four entrepreneurs: Greg Provenzano, Robert Stevanovski, Mike Cupisz and Tony Cupisz, ACN has grown into the world’s largest Network Marketing telecommunications company.

ACN now operates in 20 countries straddling North America, Europe, Australia and New Zealand. ACN uses include cutting-edge services like Digital Phone Service with Video Phone which operates on ACN’s high speed network, as well as necessary services like Local and Long Distance, Internet services, Wireless, Satellite TV with DIRECTV and DISH Network, and Home Security with ADT.

Timing:

Timing is superb for Multi-Level Marketing in general but it is not the same for every field of marketing. Whether you prosper still depends upon your capacity to Market these services and this industry is competitive.

The Compensation Plan Structure:

I’m not going to spend a lot of time on this. The compensation package is competitive. The payouts are similar to many in the Multi-Level Marketing Industry. In a company this size, if you rise up in the ranks you would be positioned for some serious likely residual income with the ACN opportunity.

The Marketing Training Program:

This is where all MLM companies drop the ball. ACN is no exception. The leaders in this company are spitting out the same very out dated MLM tactics from the 80s. Since Network Marketing has become more mainstream, these methods just don’t work as well anymore. There is a different population out there and the new marketers you want to recruit can not in point of fact recruit just from their family and friends.

Something else to consider with this is that your family and friend list they have you make in all probability does not have valuable Network Marketers. So besides trying to sell your services and push your opportunity down their throats, straining your friendships, you also have an enourmous task to duplicate your efforts.

If youre going to develop any Multi-Level Marketing Opportunity, you Absolutely need to learn effective, modern methods and start to leverage the Internet.

to sponsor successfully by using effective Internet Marketing Strategies. If done properly, these techniques will absolutely EXPLODE your ACN Business.

There are two benefits to this method.

1) You will market Yourself. The masses don’t care about opportunities, they join people. If they are sure that you can show them and mentor them, you have a partner for life as long as you deliver.

2) You build your business with seasoned marketers that will also build on the internet, not Aunt Sally and your Brother-in-Law who usually don’t do anything in your business.

The Absolute Best system on the internet, and I’ve looked at them all, for ACN guidance, ACN Reviews, and state of the art techniques that you need to be know about before you get started can be found here at the links below and you can try it without any obligation. If you want to learn how to the leaders build large incomes from ACN, visit our Online ACN Training Center, now.

Jorge Luis Borges is a famous Argentine writer and poet born in Buenos Aires in August of 1899.  From a very early age, he fluently spoke both English and Spanish.  In 1914, when his father´s eyesight failed, the family moved to Switzerland.  In Switzerland, Borges learned French and German and graduated from the College of Geneva in 1918.  After Borges graduated, the family moved around Spain living in Barcelona, Mallorca, Seville and Madrid.  It was in Spain that Borges wrote and published his first poem, â??Hymn to the Sea.â?

When Borges returned to Argentina in 1921 with his family, his career as an author/poet officially began.  Several of his poems and essays were published in a wide variety of literary journals.  In the 1930´s, he began his existential work and continued contributing to weekly journals as well as writing short novels.  It was during this time that Borges began working in the Buenos Aires Municipal Library, where he later was dismissed by the President Juan Perón for speaking out against the Peronistas.  Shortly after leaving the library, Borges went completely blind.Â

In his later years, Borges worked as Director in the National Public Library and taught literature classes in the University of Buenos Aires.  He continued reading and writing with the assistance of his mother.  He received a National Prize for Literature from the University of Cuyo and numerous other literary honors for his work.  He died of cancer in 1986 in Geneva, Switzerland.

Íbero Spanish School www.iberospanish.com offers a private Spanish course studying the work and life of this fascinating author.  The course is for 10 hours a week and includes multimedia activites, selective readings of Borges texts and analysis of the impact and influence his work has had in the world of literature.  â??The study of the greatest author of all time is essential to our curriculumâ? says Florencia Bozzano, Director at Íbero Spanish School.

The course also includes visits to places frequented by this famous Argentine writer as well as a museum dedicated to his life.Â

Captiva Island will captivate you with the serene paced lifestyle, family activities to enjoy, beautiful sugary white sand beaches sprinkled with pastel colored seashells and glistening tropical azure blue seas. In the village of Captiva Island there are quaint shops to explore and a variety of restaurants to experience. Golf courses in the area where you can test your mettle on the green, and the fishing and boating are unequalled. To end a perfect day witness breathtaking brightly colored sunsets.

You will be enchanted by beautiful, alluring Captiva Island, where once, it is said, pirates roamed, conquistadors explored and Calusa Indians called home. The mystery and adventure is still here. Treasures to be found in the way of a good life, spectacular white sand beaches scattered with “treasures from the sea”, pastel colored seashells and breathtaking sunrises and sunsets. There are superb accommodations, restaurants and shopping. Golfing, tennis, fishing, boating, children’s activities.

Captiva Island, is sister to larger Sanibel Island, and is just over a small bridge which crosses at Turner Beach. Turner Beach is a great place for catching that prize fish and also for finding the colorful shells that these islands are famous for. The beach stretches 5 miles to the northern tip of Captiva Island at Redfish Pass. From the bridge at Turner beach, Captiva Drive is a scenic drive past giant cactus, colorful bougainvilleas and other tropical flora along a stretch of sea and sand ending at “downtown” Captiva, which is more of a village than a town.

A truly fun vacation, holiday, memorable wedding, honeymoon or just a get-a-way awaits young and old alike on Captiva Island.

Captivating Captiva Island is the perfect place for you and your family to spend a day or two of your vacation. With Florida’s sub tropical climate Captiva Island has sunshine all year round. Sugary white sand beaches littered with pastel colored seashells for which the area is world renowned. The seas are a clear Caribbean azure blue. Play golf until your heart desires, and the fishing and boating are unequaled. For your dining pleasure there are restaurants offering “Floridian” cuisine and from casual, funky fun to fine dining. Shopping in the village of Captiva Island is exhilarating and you will find something for everyone.

Your visit to Captiva Island is not complete without sampling some of the local fare and succulent fresh seafood. You will find a wide selection of ethnic foods in the area. Dine in one of the fine restaurants where chefs cook up some of the freshest, tastiest dishes you have ever tasted. Whether you are looking to enjoy a lavish six course meal or a more casual dining scene, you will find just what you’re looking for. Bon apetit !

It is time for fun on Captiva Island. Enjoying a sub-tropical climate and being able to be outdoors in the sunshine all year around. There are so many activitities to choose from, fishing, golf, boating, kayaking, canoeing, tennis, swimming, bike riding. Go boating down the waterways and view a variety of wildlife such as, dolphins, blue herons, racoons and many different species of colorful birds. Wonderful memories for all times for everyone.

Shelling is so much fun and Captiva Island has such a variety of shells to find, just to collect and admire or use in a craft, on a mirror, lamps, boxes etc. Captiva is one of the islands that is literarily made up of shells, created over thousands of years, and is one of the islands that is considered best in the world for shelling. The islands geography of lying east and west rather than north and south, as most islands, allows Captiva and its sister islands to catch abundant sea shells from the Gulf of Mexico.

“Shop ’til you drop” is a motto of some island visitors. Captiva Islands shops are clustered at the north end of Captiva Drive and on Andy Rosse Lane. Strolling along the village paths from shop to shop, you will find antiques, casual fashions, pottery, hand painted furniture and many unique gifts for that special someone. Then try a restaurant to have that refreshing break.

My husband and i are taking our son to daytona beach this summer (late june/early july). Our son is only 16 months old, so whatever activities we do would have to be suitable for him. I’m also 4 months pregnant, so no roller coasters or rides We are planning on taking him to Disney, but would LOVE other suggestions. We’re going to be there for a week. Any cool museums, or parks, or “shows”, or anything that might be fun for all 3 of us. thanks!
