How Do I Juggle Extracurricular Activites, School, Friends And Family All At Once?

I’m not gonna lie, I’m a busy person. I’ve joined many extracurriculars this year hoping that I could handle it and schoolwork. Needless to say, it clashes with my procrastinating ways. I’ve been more stressed, irritated, upset, and tired this past month than I have in my past school years! How can I resolve this? Do I need to quit an extracurricular? If you have any tips on procrastinating less and handling stress, I’d appreciate it. Thanks.

first of all you need to quit some of your extra-cericular activities.
take it from someone who is a major procrastinator. i waited until the day before an essay was due before working on it, when it took everyone else 2 weeks to even finish it.
you should only be doing 2-3 afterschool activities.
next make a to-do list.
it really helped me to write everything down because all i wanted to do was clear it off my list.
if your after-school activities are imedietly after-school then they should be at the top of your list. if not then homework should be. GET THE HOMEWORK OUT OF YOUR WAY. you feel SO much better when its out of the way. do it FIRST THING when you get home.
also, i know you want to show the members of your club that you’re there for them but make sure you pace yourself. dont sign up for all the shifts of the bake-sale on the weekend… go for an hour and then leave. they’ll be happy that you showed up. (unless there are no shifts and everyone is expected to go and stay for the whole time)
do your homework when you get home on friday (i know it sounds boring) but then you have all of the weekend open for friends and family.
ALSO GET YOUR FRIENDS TO SIGN UP FOR THE CLUBS WITH YOU
that way you spend time with them while you’re at the club
or invite them over to work on homework with you if you have the same class. you guys can still talk and joke around and stuff but you’ll also get your homework done at the same time.

I have the same issues. I have three lil ones, and i am 2 months pregnant with my 4th and im getting married next year. I attend UOPfor my AA in Business, i go to another school for real estate, and before the baby i would go running for 3 hours…now I am exausted, I am a neat freak…and I organize everything….I also homeschool my 3 kids…..I had to quit my night job because coming home at 12am…to wake up at 4:30am did not cut it anymore… You have to do what is right for you.. What makes you happy? What can you put on the back burners for a while…. I had to put me first!!!! Love me first!! first off do not quit that is the worst thing that you can do. i have the same thing and i am huge on putting things off to the last minute. talk to th head of the activities tell them that you cant go all the time but most important organize your time and if you procrastinate throw in some free time.
Try making a schedule. Follow it the best that you can. You can also get a planner. Use it to write all your stuff in. On quitting an extracurricular, how many are you doing? Make sure you leave time for yourself or you are going to blow!
You have too much going on. You need to step back and find out what’s important what’s not. Or just juggle your time better. It’s ok to make schedules and yes, you can schedule in family time. Even if it’s sunday..
