My brother is convinced that there was a cartoon from the 1980′s or 1990′s with a family of porcupines (pretty sure it was porcupines, may have been beavers or hedgehogs) that gave life lessons. He says that it may have been on PBS (he even thinks that they could have been from Highlights magazine). When he was 2 or 3 years old he says, I made him feel better in the doctor’s office because he was nervous by using a hand puppet from this “show” that was in the doctors office and acting out scenes. I have no recollection of this. Any ideas what this could be? At first I thought something like Berenstein Bears or The Wind in the Willows but I don’t think those are it.
